when you repeat a joke past its initial delivery it continually loses its humor. a joke rarely is funny a second or third time you hear it. even with context most memes aren’t even humorous in the slightest. reddit and 9gag are always the scapegoats for “killing” jokes when this applies to everyone.
the issue is that this garbage was never funny even from the start and gets made worse when ANYONE repeats it constantly.
